Job summary

Dexter is seeking a CDL Driver for the Chickasha Distribution Branch on a local dedicated route to deliver trailer parts and products. The role offers steady work, well-maintained equipment, and a schedule that gets you home weekends and holidays.

The position requires a Valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year of commercial driving (manual transmission), a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Local route with overnight once weekly, no forced dispatch, and safety-first culture are

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual transmission)
• Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in last 3 years)
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Able to handle long driving days
• Van or Flatbed experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely transport trailer parts to Dexter branch locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete required DOT logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or equipment concerns
• Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations
• Drive safely and professionally in varying weather and road conditions

Dexter is hiring a CDL Driver at the Chickasha Distribution Branch for a local dedicated route delivering trailer parts and products to our customers. This position offers steady work, well-maintained equipment, and a schedule that gets you home weekends and holidays!

• Average earnings based on the following weekly details:
  • 1,500-2,000 miles per week
  • 1 overnight per week
  • 8-12 deliveries per day
• Home weekends and holidays
• Local route – No forced dispatch or unpredictable routes

• Late-model Freightliner automatic Day Cab or Straight Truck
• Pull 48' Flatbed trailers, no tarping required
• Stable, year-round freight delivering to Dexter branch locations
• Supportive team that values safety and respects our drivers

Route Information

• Dedicated deliveries to Customers in parts of the following states:
  • Oklahoma
  • Texas
• Schedule typical begins around 8:00 AM Monday thru Friday and end time varies

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport trailer parts and products to Dexter branch locations

What We’re Looking For

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual experience required)
• Van or Flatbed experience preferred
• Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years)
• Knowledge of DOT and truck driving regulations
• Ability to handle long driving days when needed
