Job summary

Able Moving is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver household and commercial goods. This role combines tractor-trailer driving with loading/unloading and moving crew supervision.

You will work with dispatchers, ensure safe deliveries, complete paperwork, and provide customer service while earning $25–$29 per hour with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• At least one year of driving experience with a commercial license.
• Experience supervising a crew.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.
• Preferred: prior moving company experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer to transport and deliver goods according to delivery schedules and shipping orders.
• Help load and unload household and commercial goods, supervise moving crews during loading and unloading.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, document vehicle condition, and keep vehicles clean and safe to operate.
• Maintain driver logs and comply with drug-free workplace requirements.
• Provide customer service during deliveries, complete shipment paperwork, obtain customer signatures, and collect payments.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and moving crews, submit paperwork verifying crew hours, and report incidents.
