Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL-licensed driver to join our logistics team in the United States. The role involves loading and unloading products, ensuring safe and timely deliveries, and maintaining open communication with dispatchers.

You will operate with care on outdoor sites in varying weather conditions, using equipment appropriate for heavy loads. Applicants must have a valid CDL (A or B), at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
