Job summary

QXO is seeking a dependable Class B CDL truck driver to join our field delivery team. You will load, secure, and transport building products, perform touch-freight tasks, and help ensure on-time deliveries in all weather.

This role requires you to inspect trucks, follow safety procedures, and communicate with dispatch. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with employer match, medical/dental/vision, PTO, paid training, and EAP.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, loading/unloading with loads over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy.
• Notify management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
