Job summary

QXO is hiring a Class A CDL driver to perform touch-freight tasks, load materials, and ensure safe on-site operations. You will pre-inspect trucks, verify loads, and maintain clear communication with the dispatcher to guarantee timely deliveries.

The role requires at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, outdoor work in all weather, and the ability to work well independently or with a team. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, loading/unloading and securing loads.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.

What You'll Do

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What You\'ll Bring
