Job summary

QXO is seeking a dedicated driver to perform touch-freight tasks and ensure safe loading and unloading of materials. The role requires lifting heavy loads, inspecting trucks, and coordinating with branch management to maintain safe, efficient deliveries.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid Class B CDL, be comfortable working outdoors in all weather, and collaborate effectively with teammates and dispatchers to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
