Job summary

QXO, a leading building products distributor and installer, is seeking a CDL driver to join our Springfield, MO team. You will perform touch-freight tasks, inspect trucks, and verify loads while maintaining safety and timely deliveries.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL with at least 12 months of verifiable experience and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather. You will communicate with dispatch and follow DOT safety procedures as part of a dynamic, team-oriented operation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
