Job summary

Aviagen Turkeys Inc. is seeking experienced drivers to transport poultry with a strong emphasis on safety and DOT compliance. The role will require accurate logs, routine pre-trip inspections, and proper handling of loads in a high-demand environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, securing loads, and reporting maintenance issues while working nights and long shifts. A valid Class A CDL with at least one year of verifiable driving is required.

Qualifications

• 0-3+ years of driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with 1 year driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT laws.
• Able to read and write legibly.
• Able to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and document results.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers as needed.
• Ensure secure loads before movement.
• Maintain proper documentation (logs, trips, weight, etc.).
• Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary:Aviagen Turkeys Inc. is currently looking for highly experienced Drivers.
