Job summary

White Cap in Lafayette, LA is hiring immediately for a CDL A or B Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, with strict adherence to DOT regulations and a strong safety mindset.

Candidates should have at least one year of CDL driving experience, a valid state license, and forklift certification; Spanish proficiency is a plus. The role may involve forklift operation and supporting warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain vehicle safety.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (e.g., Hazardous Material placarding).
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
