Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A or B Driver and you will coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites from an on-site location. You may use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments and must follow DOT regulations with a strong emphasis on safety.

The role supports warehouse operations and order preparation as needed. Ideal candidates have at least one year of CDL driving experience and a valid state license; forklift certification and Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and a valid state license.
• May operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments.
• Follow DOT regulations for vehicle maintenance and safe operation.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
