Construction Resources in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Truck Driver. The role requires a CDL (A or B), experience with manual transmissions, and the ability to safely operate a heavy-load truck on a regular delivery schedule.

You will secure loads, handle paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch for efficient deliveries across distribution centers. The position involves travel, pre- and post-trip inspections, and adherence to DOT and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving.
  • Possession of a CDL (type A or B) Commercial driver’s license.
  • Proficient in driving manual transmission trucks.
  • Capability to operate a gate lift.
  • Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack.
  • Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries.
  • Ability to service all region’s distribution centers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel is required for this position.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check is mandatory.

Responsabilités

  • Collect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork.
  • Report any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch.
  • Perform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR).
  • Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.
  • Perform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition.

  • Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving.
