Job summary

Construction Resources is seeking a delivery driver to operate heavy-load trucks, secure materials, and manage delivery paperwork across distribution centers. The role requires a CDL, 2+ years of safe driving, and travel as needed.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, report issues, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely, accurate deliveries. This full-time position offers benefits listed in the job description and requires compliance with pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving.
  • Possession of a CDL (type A or B) Commercial driver’s license.
  • Proficient in driving manual transmission trucks.
  • Capability to operate a gate lift.
  • Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack.
  • Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries.
  • Ability to service all region’s distribution centers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel is required for this position.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check is mandatory.

  • Collect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork.
  • Report any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch.
  • Perform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR).
  • Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.
  • Perform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition.

  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

  • Minimum of 5 years of forklift experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving.
