Job Details

This position is responsible for ensuring Micro’s customers receive the desired product in a timely manner and maintaining the flow of products entering and leaving the warehouse. It involves working with all Animal Health personnel including management, administration, accounting, and sales.

  • Drive truck to designated locations and load/unload supplies and equipment as per bill of lading and customer orders.
  • Unload trucks and check in incoming products upon arrival.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies for defects before and after trips.
  • Perform general maintenance and address safety concerns, reporting discrepancies and safety issues to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Ensure cargo is secure during transit and maintain accurate driving records in compliance with DOT and Hazmat regulations.
  • Follow all delivery procedures and maintain constant communication with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain inventory at customer sites and in the warehouse, including regular inventory checks and ordering.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Provide customer service and assist with warehouse phone inquiries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months to one year of related experience preferred.
  • Valid CDL Class A license required.
  • Hazmat endorsement and forklift experience are preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavier loads occasionally.
  • Good reading, mathematical, and hand/eye coordination skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Computer knowledge is helpful.
  • Availability for on-call rotation required.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in warehouse settings and at customer sites, including feedlots and dairies, often exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise. Heavy physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions is required.
