Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL-driven delivery professional to perform touch-freight tasks and ensure safe loading and unloading on delivery routes in Florida. You will pre-inspect trucks, verify loads, and maintain clear communication with the dispatcher to meet promised delivery times.

Candidates must have a CDL (A or B), be at least 21, and have 12+ months of verifiable driving experience. Outdoor work, heavy lifting, and safe operation of equipment are required in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Conveyor truck experience preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
