Job summary

Cemplex Group is hiring a CDL A Driver to transport materials to construction sites across the region. This role requires a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and ability to perform pre-trip inspections.

You will deliver, unload, and stage materials, coordinate with site supervision, and maintain accurate logs. Overnight travel may be required within 4 hours of the office; DOT compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• CDL A with valid license and 3 years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• DOT compliance and motor vehicle check required.

• Deliver material to job sites and up to 4 hours away from the Cemplex Office.
• Unload Equipment and material at job sites.
• Communicate with General Contractors on material staging.
• Perform Pre-Trip inspections and maintain Driver Logbook Daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Cemplex Group CDL A Driver position is responsible for driving material to various job sites on time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive Tractor-Trailer, Flatbed, Heavy Duty Trucks
• Deliver material and equipment to various jobsites and up to 4 hours away from the Cemplex Office.
• Unload Equipment and material at job sites
• Operate other equipment as needed
• Communicate with General Contractors on job sites as to location of Material/Equipment staging.
• Perform Pre-Trip inspections and maintain Driver Logbook Daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience driving a CDL A eligible vehicle
  • Valid Class A CDL
• Preferred:
  • Mechanical background

This position requires the successful completion of a motor vehicle check and compliance with DOT requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• Lift, pull, push, and carry 80 lbs. of weight intermittently.
• Ability to identify safety hazards and communicate effectively with others.
• Bend, squat, twist, and reach in various positions as the situation dictates.
• Extended periods of sitting in one spot
