Job description

CicKo Transportation (/sis-koh/) is an elite trucking company that specializes in tackling oversized, overweight, and non-standard hauling needs. Headquartered just outside the steel city of Pittsburgh, we are known as the team that can transport any load: heavy equipment, oil and gas rigging, intermodal and dirt moving machines, cranes, storage tanks, and everything you can think of in between. We are actively seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to add to our team. A minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering heavy material handling/dirt equipment.

JOB DUTIES CONSIST OF BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Deliver, load and unload parts and equipment for customers.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and location of O&M guide.
• Recommend equipment and related items to customers.
• Perform vehicle inspections daily, as well as checking gas, oil, and other fluid levels.
• Top off and record fluid levels as necessary and grease all joints on trailers.
• Complete the necessary paperwork for vehicle inspections and turn it in to supervisor daily.
• Maintain accurate, detailed delivery and pickup records.
• Assist in the shipping and receiving department when not out on delivery.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Class A CDL (Manual Transmission).
• Willing to work long hours and make out of town runs 1-4 days per week.
• Must have clean, safe driving record.
• Oversized load experience.
• Material handling/Dirt Equipment experience.
• Lo-Boy experience preferred but not required.
• Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and physical exam.
• Know specifics & applications of rental equipment inventory, so you can answer questions upon delivery.
• Familiar with equipment hauling and DOT requirements and regulations.
• The work is typically very physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required.
• Open mind and a good attitude.
