Job summary

QXO in Burnsville, MN is seeking a CDL driver to support touch-freight tasks, load verification, and safe site operations. The role requires lifting, outdoor work in all weather, and strong teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities include pre-inspection, load setup, hazard reporting, and close coordination with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries while following DOT and company safety rules. Training is provided for NCCO/boom truck experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• NCCCO certification or experience with a boom truck preferred but will train.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products. Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
