Job summary

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable Dockworker with a valid CDL to join our growing logistics team in Atlanta. The role involves loading freight safely, operating powered warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and delivering or picking up freight as needed with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include yard truck operations, printing Bills of Lading, securing shipments, and performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections.

Qualifications

Forklift certification and valid CDL-A required.
Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements.
21 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print BOL for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure
Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently as needed.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance needs.
Adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Maintain logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions.
Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, delays and issues during transportation.
