Job summary

TForce Freight in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a reliable Dockworker with a CDL to join our growing logistics team. You will ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently to be delivered on time and in good condition.

This role requires operating powered warehouse equipment and a tractor-trailer as needed, while maintaining a positive, safety-focused, professional approach. As part of our team, you will print BOLs, manage dock operations, and adhere to local, state, and federal transportation

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Meet all DOT and company requirements.
• Safety-focused with good time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Print BOL for daily deliveries.
• Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
• Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and delays.
