Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is looking for a Delivery Driver in New Jersey to deliver seafood, beef, poultry and gourmet products. You will be the key customer contact, delivering orders on schedule and upholding HACCP standards for perishable goods.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, safe loading/unloading, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate documentation. A Class A license and Saturday availability are required. Strong customer service and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years commercial driving experience.
Temperature-controlled product experience preferred.
Friendly, courteous customer service demeanor.
Must have a valid Class A driver’s license.
Available to work long shifts and Saturdays.
Basic English-speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

Deliver and unload products per route; ensure vehicle is secured during drop-offs.
Perform pre-trip safety inspections and verify route numbers.
Load and unload products using dolly or other devices safely.
Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures.
Collect payments and record transactions accurately.
Follow DOT and HACCP regulations during operation and handling of product.
Monitor temperature-controlled vehicles to maintain required temperature limits.
Maintain customer satisfaction and report complaints to Supervisor.
Support Fleet Manager by ensuring vehicle maintenance and records are current.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
