Job summary

Fortune Fish and Gourmet is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A) in Union, NJ to deliver and unload perishable seafood and gourmet products. You will be the primary contact with customers, ensuring top levels of service while maintaining strict safety standards.

You will perform pre-trip checks, drive on established routes, load/unload safely, collect signatures, and document transactions. Compliance with DOT and HACCP, plus ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work Saturdays, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Class A license required.
• Basic English speaking proficiency.
• Willing to work long shifts and Saturdays.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload company products including seafood, beef, poultry, and gourmet items.
• Serve as key contact with customers and provide high levels of service.
• Follow DOT and HACCP regulations during operation and handling of product.
• Perform pre-trip responsibilities and vehicle safety inspections.
• Drive and deliver orders, secure vehicle, and obtain customer signatures.
• Load/unload using dolly and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Report issues to management and maintain customer satisfaction.
