Job summary
Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist in Warner Robins, GA to transport trusses and other building materials with our company-owned fleet. You will ensure on-time deliveries and unload on site using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials where needed.
Prior experience with trusses and building materials, a valid CDL license, and a good driving record are required. Teamwork and safety awareness are essential as you support daily delivery schedules and customer
Qualifications
- Operate a roller truss trailer.
- Delivery experience with trusses and building materials.
- Experience with truck-mounted forklift.
- Must hold a current CDL license.
- Familiarity with truss components and delivery equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities
- Transport trusses and related building materials to local customer jobsites safely and on time.
- Unload materials on site using dump beds or truck-mounted forklifts to place materials as directed.
- Maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly, professional customer service.
