Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Regional Delivery Specialist to transport materials to our Georgia locations and surrounding states in safe, timely fashion using company sleeper cabs.

You will provide friendly, professional customer service at the delivery site, perform no-touch freight, and handle loading/unloading with a forklift. Based out of Warner Robins, GA, some overnight travel is required.

Qualifications

• Operate a truss trailer.
• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Based out of our store in Warner Robbins, GA.
• The position will require some overnight travel in company-owned sleeper cabs.

Responsibilities

• As one of our Regional Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations throughout Georgia and surrounding states in a safe and timely manner using company owned sleeper cabs. This is a full time position in which you will provide friendly and professional customer service at the delivery site. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.
