Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites using our company fleet. You will ensure deliveries meet daily schedules and provide friendly, professional service on every visit.

On-site duties include unloading with a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and placing materials exactly where customers need them. A valid CDL and forklift experience are preferred, with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Must have delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift is preferred
• Valid CDL license and clean driving record required
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time using company fleet
• Unload materials on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and set materials as requested
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Commit to safe driving practices and uphold company standards on all deliveries
