Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. - Harrisburg is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle and deliver freight to commercial and residential job sites.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, adhering to DOT regulations, maintaining required records, and providing excellent customer service on every delivery. A valid CDL and clean MVR are required, with Class A preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, lead when needed, and build relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload at job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned area while prioritizing safety.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Report accidents involving driver or company equipment.
