Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, load and unload building materials, and deliver to commercial and residential job sites with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires a valid CDL (Class A strongly preferred), a clean MVR, and knowledge of DOT regulations. You will work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily deadlines while maintaining records and promoting a positive

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation and load/unload building materials onto flatbed or boom truck.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment; lift heavy materials up to 80–100 lbs and ensure customer service excellence.
