Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is seeking a delivery driver to transport lumber and building materials from our San Marcos location to customers’ homes, sites, or businesses. You will handle COD payments, verify orders, and maintain accurate delivery logs while providing excellent customer service.

Role requires driving safety, navigation skills, and the ability to operate forklifts per company standards. Expect potential overtime and a strong safety focus in a dynamic, multi-state retailer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive safely and follow prescribed routes.
• Read and speak English well; hold a valid driver’s license.
• Complete company training programs and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to deliver lumber, building materials, hardware and supplies to customers.
• Collects payment from COD orders and records customer information.
• Verifies order details and secures customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Follow directions and use navigation tools to locate addresses efficiently.
• Load and unload materials, maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Assist customers in yard with loading and answering questions when not driving.
