Job summary

Glazer’s Beer & Beverage is seeking a Delivery Supervisor to manage a team of up to 12 CDL drivers and oversee daily dispatch operations. The role requires coaching drivers, in-field supervision, and reporting to Branch Management.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years delivering experience, 1+ years in supervision, and a CDL or plan to obtain one within 6 months. Flexibility for evenings & weekends is expected; onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 3+ years in delivery driver position.
• 1+ years’ supervisor experience.
• Must possess a CDL or agreement to obtain a CDL within 6 months of hire.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, directs, counsels drivers on performance; defines expectations and monitors progress.
• Work with drivers on a plan, including at least one full day per week in the field; train and assist delivery personnel.
• Publish three predetermined Roadnet reports daily to Branch Management, including the daily cases report.
• Support the Transportation Manager with key duties and resolve discrepancies issued to delivery personnel.
• Conduct monthly safety training meetings.
• Conduct performance evaluations for all Transportation Department members.
• Ensure fleet issues are reported to Operations Manager and Mechanic for action.
• Ensure DOT files and medical cards are current for all CDL drivers.
• Ensure all Transportation Drivers are logged onto Roadnet each morning.
• Process uniform orders and payroll documents as needed.
