Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a delivery professional to support customers by providing courteous service, assisting in locating and loading merchandise, and ensuring a a positive shopping experience. You will engage customers, explain product features, and coordinate delivery timing.

Responsibilities include planning delivery routes, loading trucks, inspecting items before delivery, verifying invoices, and maintaining DOT compliance while unloading and installing appliances as needed.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license required for multi-unit CMV.
• Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement acceptable for single-unit CMV.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as may be required by law.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service and assist customers in locating and loading merchandise.
• Plan delivery activities, load trucks according to schedule, and deliver merchandise on time.
• Inspect products before loading and verify quantities against invoices.
• Ensure loads are safe, within DOT regulations, and update delivery status in system.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
