ABC Supply in Cortland, OH is seeking a licensed CDL driver to join our local delivery team. You’ll ensure safe, timely deliveries from the branch to customers and home every night, with no long-haul travel.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service, with responsibilities including load checks, on-time invoices, documentation, and compliance with regulations. Benefits and a steady schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B.
• Frequent lifting of 70 lb bundles of shingles.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• No over-the-road travel required.
• Ability to meet delivery schedules and follow all job directives.

Responsibilities

• Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conducting a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
• Documenting every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system.
• Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are secured and compliant with regulations.
• Working with the Delivery Material Handler to set materials and unload them.
• Completing and filing all logs and government paperwork accurately.
• Providing the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collecting payment on COD deliveries.
• Additional duties may include warehouse work such as loading/unloading materials as assigned.
• This position does not require over-the-road travel.
