Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to join a nationally established company. You will ensure the safety of each delivery from the facility to the job site, performing both ground and rooftop deliveries and documenting each step with photos.

Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, loading/unloading as needed, and handling customer invoicing on COD deliveries. This position offers strong benefits and home nightly in this local role.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• Lift 75–100 lbs repeatedly, typical cargo 70 lb shingles.
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required.
• Flatbed and/or conveyor truck experience preferred.
• Semi tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Trailer-mounted forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries by safe handling from the facility to the customer.
• Treat customers professionally and maintain safety at job sites.
• Maintain delivery schedule adherence and follow directives.
• Document each delivery with photos using our camera phone system.
• Perform load checks and ensure cargo is secured per regs.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler to place materials.
• Complete logs and government paperwork timely.
• Provide customer with invoices and collect COD payments when applicable.
• May assist with warehouse activities including loading/unloading.
• This role does not require over-the-road travel.
