Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. - Wilmington is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies and regulations, delivering freight safely and efficiently while providing world-class customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining compliance records, and lifting heavy materials up to 80 lbs. A valid CDL Class B license is required, with Class A preferred, plus a clean MVR and DOT knowledge.

Qualifications

• CDL required or better, Class B minimum with Class A preferred.
• Three-year MVR clean record required.
• Knowledge of Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load and unload building materials onto trucks and at job sites.
• Deliver materials to designated areas while prioritizing safety and customer service.
• Maintain records required for compliance with regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Demonstrate ability to lift heavy materials up to 80 lbs.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional conduct.
