Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. – Cary is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle safely, deliver freight, and support loading/unloading at various job sites while delivering a world-class customer experience.

You will work to comply with DOT regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate records and reporting incidents as needed. The role requires a CDL, a clean MVR, and at least a Class B license (Class A preferred).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing safety.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Must report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
