Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. - Jacksonville is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle, load/unload building materials, and deliver to job sites while delivering world-class customer service. Responsibilities include safety-first driving, maintaining regulatory records, and reporting accidents.

Must meet DOT regulations and possess a valid CDL with Class B (Class A preferred). The role requires ability to lift heavy materials and work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Minimum Class B License; Class A preferred.
Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

Inspect truck/trailer for defects and load/unload materials safely.
Deliver materials to assigned areas while prioritizing safety and customer service.
Maintain records required for compliance with regulations.
Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment; lift heavy materials when needed.
