Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a delivery-focused associate to provide excellent customer service, assist customers with locating and loading merchandise, and coordinate delivery activities. You will plan routes, load trucks carefully, and ensure on-time delivery while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

The role requires CDL eligibility and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and management. Training includes safety procedures and proper use of loading equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL or Class B with proper endorsements.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service and assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Plans delivery activities and ensures on-time delivery by loading and transporting items per delivery orders.
• Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.
• Communicates delivery status and coordinates with drivers and customers to ensure smooth handoffs.
