Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Allentown, PA is seeking a Driver - Cylinder to deliver and handle cylinders on-site, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer service.

You will manage loading/unloading, paperwork, and inspections in a fast-paced environment at a leading industrial gases provider. Responsibilities include DOT/Hazmat shipping, pre/post-trip inspections, and proper stowage and handling of cylinders.

Qualifications

• Two years driving experience required.
• Valid Class A/B CDL is required.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire.
• DOT/medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload products, move to customer use point, and reload returned cylinders.
• Drive approximately 30% of the day; remaining time for delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders and paperwork, and vehicle inspections.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers per DOT/TC regulations and placard vehicle accordingly.
