Job summary

Sterling Crane LLC in Pleasanton, TX is hiring a CDL Crane Rigger to support our heavy lift operations. You will work with a crane operator to haul equipment and assist with building mobile cranes. The role requires a CDL A, NCCER/NCCCO crane rigger certification, OSHA knowledge, and strong safety and math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL A and NCCER/NCCCO crane rigger certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Able to pass post offer drug and physical screens; background/MVR meets company requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong math skills for weights and measurements.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all applicable rigging.
• Haul heavy materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of rigging capacity and weight limits.
• Signal crane operator during lifts for directional or placement instructions.
• Climb structures with safety harness to guide and position load.
• Ensure rigging is safe and reliable before hoisting.
