Job summary

Sterling Crane LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a licensed crane operator to safely operate a range of cranes at our Baytown, TX site. You will perform daily inspections, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with safety procedures in a dynamic lifting environment.

Required qualifications include a High School diploma, 3+ years with cranes, Class A CDL, NCCCO license, and the ability to read technical drawings. Overtime may be required; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes.
• Class A CDL.
• NCCCO Crane Operators License (current).
• Pass post-offer drug and physical screens; background check.
• Dependable and able to work overtime if needed.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of specialized cranes safely and efficiently according to procedures.
• Inspect ground conditions and overhead obstructions.
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections and minor repairs.
• Keep logs and records of operation.
• Maintain clear radio/visual communications with ground crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
