Job summary

Sterling Crane LLC in Baytown, TX is seeking a CDL Crane Operator to safely operate cranes across our heavy lift projects. The role requires 3+ years of experience with rough terrain cranes and mobile equipment, plus a valid Class A CDL and NCCCO crane license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years experience with rough terrain, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes.
• CDL Class A license required.
• NCCCO Crane Operators License required.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of heavy lifting equipment following established procedures.
• Inspect work area for ground conditions and overhead obstructions; ensure safe setup.
• Maintain logs and records of operational activities and inspections.
• Communicate with ground crew via hand signals and radio; follow safety regulations.
