CDL Couples Traveling / Occupational Health Technician Team
Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI) is a national provider of occupational health services to corporations across the United States. We provide critical services to ensure the health and safety of our clients and their employees while complying with OSHA regulations. Our core services include audiometric and respiratory screening services via our field technicians and mobile units.
We are looking for couples with one qualified CLASS A CDL driver and one helper or established CDL driving partners interested in traveling and working together to provide health screenings at various industrial locations across the USA.
Responsibilities
- Travel to industrial locations across the United States to conduct audiometric and respiratory screening services.
- Perform health screenings with mobile units, operating equipment and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with partner to manage travel logistics, vehicle operations, and client communication.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company standards while working unsupervised.
Benefits & Compensation
- Flat rate per diem: $240 per day (up to $81,000 annually)
- Hotel reimbursement for standard rooms over $110/night
- Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 per team with a minimum 12‑month agreement
- Company provides vehicles, equipment, fuel and covers all travel expenses
- 2 weeks back‑to‑back vacation each summer for full‑time agreements plus a bonus week at the start of the new year
- Seasonal schedules: 9 months on/3 months off (prorated benefits) or 3 months on/1 month off after certification, training and meeting qualifications
- 6 weeks paid training with per diem
- 100% travel within continental USA
Requirements
- Couple with one qualified CLASS A CDL driver and one helper or partner.
- Both team members must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time, including weekends (340+ OTR days/year for full‑time; 270+ days for seasonal agreements).
- Basic technical skills (computer, internet, email).
- Physically fit to carry equipment, climb into vehicles, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor while working unsupervised.
- At least one CLASS A CDL per team; both members must have clean driving records and pass background checks.
- Complete approximately 6 weeks of paid training and certification.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Teams must have personal credit cards to cover initial lodging and expenses; per diem deposited weekly, paid in arrears after the first week of employment.
