Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in San Marcos, TX is seeking a delivery driver to transport lumber, building materials, hardware, and other supplies to customers' homes, job sites, or stores. You will drive company vehicles, collect COD payments, verify orders, use GPS for routing, and maintain delivery paperwork while ensuring safety and professional customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma (preferred), valid driver’s license, DOT qualifications, and willingness to work overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for vehicle type.
• Must meet DOT qualifications and have current DOT physical card.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to deliver lumber, building materials, hardware and other supplies to customers' homes, construction sites, or businesses.
• Collects payment from COD orders and records customer information.
• Verifies order details and obtains customer signature on delivery ticket.
• Uses GPS/navigation to locate delivery addresses efficiently.
• Records delivery information for tracking and paperwork.
• Loads vehicle safely and accurately and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
