Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is seeking a delivery driver to transport lumber and related materials to customers and sites in a safe and efficient manner. The role requires navigating routes, unloading supplies, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Responsibilities include handling COD payments, verifying orders, and assisting in yard operations when not driving. Candidates should have a valid license, DOT knowledge, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for the vehicle being operated.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training; levels 1 and 2 of positional training offered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lumber, building materials, hardware, and other supplies to customers’ homes, sites, or businesses.
• Collect COD payments and record customer information per SOP.
• Verify order details and obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Use GPS/navigation to locate addresses efficiently.
• Record delivery information for tracking and organize required paperwork.
