Job summary

Curbside in Denver is seeking CDL drivers for local pickup and delivery routes. CDL Class B is required; Class A may be considered. Home every night and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Responsibilities include planning routes, loading/unloading, ensuring cargo security, and maintaining daily logs and vehicle upkeep. A clean driving record, drug/background check, and willingness to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid and current CDL required (Class B, Class A considered).
• 2+ years professional driving experience or related work experience.
• Clean driving record with no recent moving violations.
• Physically fit to sit for long periods and lift 25 pounds.
• Able to work nights, weekends, extended hours, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.
• Supervise loading and unloading of cargo and ensure cargo is secured.
• Follow all state and federal truck driving safety regulations.
• Complete mileage and cargo documentation; track mileage, fuel, and tolls; verify inventory against shipping docs.
• Refuel vehicle and check oil; inspect truck daily for maintenance needs.
• Report accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors; maintain vehicle equipment.

• Supervise loading and unloading of cargo off truck and ensure cargo is secured
• Follow all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standards
• Complete documentation for mileage and cargo; keep track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses; confirm inventory matches shipping documents
• Refuel the vehicle and check or replace oil as needed
• Inspect truck daily for damage or maintenance problems
• Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors
• Maintain vehicle equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• 2+ years professional driving experience or related work experience
• Must have a clean driving record with no recent moving violations
• Proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking large vehicles
• Physically fit and able to sit for long time periods, perform truck maintenance, and lift 25 pounds comfortably
• The candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator
• Able to work nights, weekends, extended hours, and holidays as needed
• Drug and background check required.
