Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks a Class B CDL Driver to supervise truck loading/unloading, assist movers, and ensure safe, efficient relocation operations. The role involves inspecting vehicles, securing cargo, maintaining logs, and coordinating with dispatchers for daily assignments.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of Class B driving, can operate 16–26 ft moving trucks, and have a clean DOT record with knowledge of regulations and ELD practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Class B driving experience in moving, delivery, or logistics.
• Proven ability to operate 16ft, 24ft, and 26ft moving trucks.
• Experience conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle pre-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting household goods; secure cargo.
• Maintain logs of working hours per regulations.
• Maneuver trucks for loading/unloading with proper positioning.
• Report accidents or issues to Fleet Management.
