Job summary

Austin Wood Recycling is seeking an experienced Commercial Driver to join our growing team in Texas. The role involves delivering mulch, soils, and aggregates, with potential roll-off assignments and various trailers.

You will operate safely, perform pre/post trip checks, and maintain professional interaction with customers and coworkers. We require a Class A or B CDL, willingness to work around 60 hours weekly, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL required, depending on position.
• Able to work approximately 60 hours per week, including Saturdays.
• Experience with various trailers: live-floor, end dump, flatbed, roll-off.
• Forklift/Spyder experience preferred for flatbed operators.
• Must have a valid license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• CDL drivers with less than one year may need an entry-level driver training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections and comply with hours of service and DOT regulations.
• Safely transport products and equipment to job locations and back.
• Complete basic vehicle service and maintenance tasks daily.
• Submit all required paperwork accurately and daily.
• Report accidents or injuries, regardless of severity.
• Follow standard operating procedures and processes.
• Wear required safety gear at all times and stay compliant with safety rules.
• Take on other duties as assigned by management.
