Job summary

Austin Wood Recycling is seeking experienced Class A Commercial Drivers to safely transport mulch, soil, and aggregates. Drivers may operate various trucks and trailers and must maintain a safe, dependable, professional attitude with customers and coworkers.

Position requires working approximately 60 hours per week, including Saturdays, with overtime potential. Candidates must have a clean driving record, pass a drug screen and a DOT physical, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Ability to work ~60 hours per week including Saturdays.
• Experience with equipment hauling (tractor trailer, trailers).
• Forklift/Spyder experience is a plus for flatbed operations.
• Must pass a drug screen and a DOT physical.
• CDL with <1 year experience requires ELDT certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections and comply with FMCSA hours of service.
• Safely transport product to/from job locations following laws and regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle maintenance including cleaning radiator/filters and interior.
• Submit all required paperwork daily and accurately.
• Report accidents or injuries promptly and follow SOPs.
