Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Truck Driver to operate trucks and move dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and other materials to various job sites. You will also work in the yard to stockpile and move materials as needed, following supervisor instructions and staying free from direct supervision except for complex jobs.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL B license, can pass DOT physical and background checks, and has a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL B license required; Hazmat/tanker endorsements may be required.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to deliver materials to job sites.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Communicate with crew and dispatch to coordinate deliveries.
• Load and unload materials; monitor vehicle gauges.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with DOT requirements.
