Job summary

Orica in Vermont is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to join our USA Commercial team. Deliver and install blasting products at customer sites, with safety-first operations and strong customer service. The role is 40% driving and 60% field work, outdoors in varied conditions.

You’ll perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, hook up trailers, and manage inventory with basic math. A DOT-regulated environment requires attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class B CDL required (Class A a plus).
• Tanker/Hazmat endorsements preferred.
• Willing to obtain endorsements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid role: ~40% driving and ~60% field work.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Safely hook up and unhook trailers.
• Operate emulsion tanker and box trucks daily.
• Handle hazardous materials per safety/regulatory rules.
• Report incidents and participate in safety meetings.
