Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Yard Jockey with a Class A CDL to efficiently move trailers around the distribution center yard. You will work with a Professional Driver Trainer during training and complete yard moves in a safe, timely manner to support gate times and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a pay rate of $25/hour, with mid-shift hours and benefits starting Day 1, plus weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and medical card.
• Experience maneuvering and backing trailers (up to 53') with a jockey wagon; tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers around the distribution center yard as directed.
• Check and log trailer temperatures using pre-programmed settings.
• Complete yard inventory and enter into yard management system where applicable.
• Inspect, fuel, and clean the vehicle and trailers.
