Job summary

Penske Logistics in Houston seeks a full-time Class A Yard Driver. You’ll operate late-model Penske trucks, move trailers as directed, and be home daily with a 4 AM start, Monday–Friday schedule.

You’ll earn $25.50 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours and enjoy a strong benefits package from day one, including health care, paid vacation, retirement plans, uniforms, and safety programs. Valid CDL-A and DOT medical card required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the past 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• DOT safety compliance and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.
